So, I told Nathaniel when I had physical therapy that I had planned on just going to school since
all that the therapists at the courage center seemed to be concerned about and all they ever work on with me is my neck. I told Nathaniel that none of them were chiropractors, so I didn't see how they found it alright to be the judge and say that I needed to work on my neck. So he figured out that i meant business, so he
actually worked on walking with me. He strapped me up to the nu-step to work on my turns. The nu-step is the
very first "device" that I worked with when I
first learned how to bare my weight and walk again. It's like a bungee cord hanging from the ceiling and strapped to a vest that a person puts on and can walk around. I was working
mainly on my turns because I think that's about all that I have trouble with now.
While I was waiting for my ride to come this morning, I thought that I heard Kelly (another resident of my apartment mumble to Jesse and another person waiting for a ride,"she's really SUPPOSED to be using a chair.") I don't know if she was referring to me (since she said it as I was walking towards the doors as she was saying it but when she gets a license in physical therapy- Then she can start saying what I
should be doing. Until then.. She should know her role and shut her mouth).
